No advertising cookies.

What we set

If you sign in, we set a signed session cookie named td_account. It is httpOnly, lasts thirty days, and exists so the site knows it is you. It is not used to advertise.

This browser may keep a few TravelDetails keys in local storage: destinations you save or mark visited, an offline pack you asked for, and whether you dismissed this cookie note. Those stay on your device. We do not sell them.

The host that serves the site may set a technical cookie so the page can run. That is not an advertising cookie either.

Google

Continue with Google is optional. If you use it, you leave our page for Google’s sign-in. We receive your name, email, and optional photo so we can open an account. We do not post to Google. Google’s own cookies on that step are Google’s, not ours.

What we do not do

We do not use third-party ad cookies. We do not give your information to advertising networks or data brokers. We do not need you to accept “marketing cookies,” because we do not set them.

We may later offer an optional first-party note — for example that a Pokhara fact changed — only if you tick it. That is mail from us, not an agency. We cannot send mail from hello@ yet.
